3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
Our film has the feel of an independent as it would be on a low budget. Also, considering our target audience, we would need something that is not aimed at a mainstream audience as it is not family-friendly. As our film is independent we would not have funding from a mainstream institution so we would try to get funding from The National Lottery and the UK Film Council, who give funding to British independent films.

A distribution company we could use is Ealing Studios who have recently produced films aimed at teenagers. An example of this is 'Dorian Gray' a film that also recieved a £500,000 of National Lottery Fund by the UK Film Council's Premiere Fund. The film was aimed at older teenagers which is roughly the same audience as ours.
